ME VERSUS WE
In the beginning, we all felt the welcoming spanking from the family doctor. From that moment forth, we were no longer a "me" but a "we". Blessed and cursed to be influenced by everyone around us. Unknowingly to us, the homo sapiens that we would come in contact with in our everyday lives, would change us, some more than others, and some in major ways. There is no "I" anymore, no sole identity , no "me", thanks to this symbiotic relationship. Your neighbor is parts of you and quite possibly the mailman that brings you the electric bill. The man that cut you off in traffic this morning has influenced you to some degree also.My fellow students that I sit with for the grueling six hours a day are rubbing off on me and I hope the future mixture changes the world or at least takes it over, like a nice loving dictatorship.
